job summary:

We are migrating our web applications from .Net/ C#/ HTML5/ CSS/ JS to Java/ HTML5/ CSS/ JS, we are looking for teammates who are proficient in both Microsoft .Net and Java technologies.

Candidates should have 7+ yrs. of combined experience in .net/ Java technologies. Mandatory to have good experience in Spring boot, Spring MVC, Spring Modules, REST, Microservices, Java/J2ee, Struts, Java8, Maven.

salary: $58.26 - 68.26 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

• Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle
• Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency
• Analyze user requirements to understand business objectives
• Envisioning system features and functionality
• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
• Write well designed, testable code
• Manage Java and Java EE application development
• Utilize latest development technologies to solve for business requirements, Responsive Web Design, and ADA (American Disabilities Act) compliance
• Guide onshore and offshore development resources on day to day tasks such as design discussions, code review etc.
• Represent technical team in SDLC for Waterfall as well as Agile project methodologies
• Collaborate with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget.
• Monitor and enhance the stability and performance of the existing applications

qualifications:

• Experience working on high volume applications Experience in server side frameworks like Spring MVC
• Experienced with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
• Good understanding of SOAP web services and related standards like REST/JSON
• Experience building restful web service
• Great experience in tools like Jira, GIT, Ansible, Jenkins and Splunk
• Must have experience on front end technologies like HTML, CSS, NodeJs, Angular JS, Vue.Js and Java script.
• Should have very good understanding in systems design and architecture and must be proficient in Design and Integration patterns.

skills:

• Working knowledge for front end technologies like handlebars, foundation, and reactJS
• XML and JSON binding libraries (jaxb, Jackson, gson, etc)
• Unit Tests - Junit
• Experience with GIT, Maven, Nexus, Eclipse(or equivalent IDE)
• Experience with GIT distributed version control, branching/merge strategies, and Bitbucket
• Experience with monitoring toolset like Splunk, Dynatrace
• Familiarity with MQ (Websphere MQ or ActiveMQ)Experience in performance tuning with good understanding JVM internals
• Experience with groovy
• Experience in Object-oriented programming and concepts
• Experienced in Distributed System development using Java/J2EE/Web Technologies
• Conversant in Java design patterns
