The AI Tools team is dedicated to rapidly accelerating the adoption of AI and agentic workflows for engineers at Coinbase. We achieve this by delivering high-quality tools and foundational primitives that empower teams to automate their work and unlock significant productivity gains across the engineering lifecycle. Our goal is to transform successful AI experiments into enterprise-grade tools, making AI an indispensable partner for every engineer.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$152,405—$179,300 USD

For select roles, Coinbase is piloting an AI tool based on machine learning technologies to conduct initial screening interviews to qualified applicants. The tool simulates realistic interview scenarios and engages in dynamic conversation.
