Opportunity Overview The Software Engineering team in Deer Park, IL is looking for a Software Engineer with passion for learning, developing high quality software, solving complex problems, and becoming part of a smart and innovative team. Are you able to balance a variety of tasks related to requirements definition, software system design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance? Interact with multi-functional teams from the product definition stage through product release? Then you're exactly who we're looking for! This role is to work on-site at Deer Park, IL office with some hybrid flexibility. + Design, implementation, test, and deployment of software components for Teradyne's family of Automatic Test Equipment + Create robust designs with a focus on scalability, high performance and maintainability + Work with software engineers to design, document and execute effective test strategies and plans + Conceive and implement fully functional and high performing software solutions + Tackle difficult problems and come up with innovative software solutions + Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve our product, our process and our team All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you're ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. + BS/MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering + Minimum of 0-2 years of practical software development experience + Able to clearly express your ideas and concepts both written and verbally + Driven to get the job done and are not afraid to really commit, and go above and beyond to do it + Experience with C, C++, C# and .NET development + Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and Windows operating systems + Experience with development tools: Visual Studio, ClearCase/Git + Experience with Software development lifecycles, Agile and follow CMMI best practice + Hardware knowledge and prior ATE experience is a plus. + Co-op or internship experience a plus We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $72,100.00-$115,300.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
